Dear Customer:

 

It’s very important to provide for service for your Awnings to obtain the maximum service from them. Each year we send our Customers this Contract covering fall Awning “Take Down”, “Storage” and spring “Put Up”.   

 

SCHEDULING.  We Take Down, and Put Up all awnings by GEOGRAPHIC AREA and NOT BY DATE. This helps eliminate the situation where your neighbor’s stored awning is up, but yours is not.  We have an option on our website, www.LaurelAwnings.com, where you can see our Service Schedule.  We will also mail our tentative spring Put Up schedule to you in March.  Due to the volume of Customers we service, we cannot call before we visit your premises.

 

Fall Take Down begins October 1st.  Spring Put Up begins on or about April 1st.  We accept only as many awnings for Storage as we can put up the following spring between April 1st and May 20th .   If your Contract is received after September 30th you may not be included in our first visit to your area and you may have to wait until later in the Take Down season for service.  Accordingly, we do not honor requests for service on a specific date. However, by limiting the number of awnings we store, and putting them up by geographic area, we are able to have all of our stored awnings Put Up by May 20th.  

 

ALL SCHEDULING IS SUBJECT TO THE WEATHER AND THE AVAILABLILITY OF SEASONAL HELP!  WE CANNOT STORE AWNINGS THAT HAVE BEEN TAKEN DOWN WET – THEY MAY MILDEW OVER THE WINTER!   

 

WEEK CERTAIN SERVICE is available at an additional $49.95 each to cover our added costs.  This provides you with a way to have your Awning(s) Put Up the week before the week of your event.  IF YOU ELECT WEEK CERTAIN SERVICE, WE WILL BE OUT ONE OF THE DAYS, MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, OF THE WEEK YOU CHOOSE.  If you would like this option, please indicate the appropriate dates and sign below.   Once elected, WEEK CERTAIN SERVICE cannot be refunded.

PRICE. The cost for Take Down, Storage and Put Up of your Awning(s) for this fall and next spring will be based upon the price list on the back of this page. We charge a minimum of $125.00 for Take Down and Storage and a minimum of $125.00 for spring Put Up.  We bill for the Take Down and Storage price after we Take Down your Awning(s) in the fall.  We bill for the Put Up price after we Put Up your Awning(s) in the spring.  All bills are due upon receipt.  If we arrive at your Premises to find that you have made other service arrangements without giving us written advance notice you agree to pay our $99.00 minimum Service Call fee. 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          

            REPAIRS.  Sign here ___________________________ to give us permission to check your Awning(s) for and make minor repairs (“Repairs”) up to a cost of $110.00 which includes $40.00 to check Awnings for repairs. If the cost of Repairs is more than $11

 

0.00, or if your Awning(s) are beyond repair or need cleaning before repair, we will contact you for further authorization before we begin.  We cannot repair dirty Awnings.  We bill you for the Repairs upon completion.  We may not be able to find and repair all defective areas of your Awning(s).

CLEANING AND TREATING.    Sign here ___________________________ to give us permission to clean and treat for water resistance (“Clean and Treat”) the Awning(s) listed below. The Clean and Treat prices are listed on the back of this page.  PLEASE NOTE THE AWNING(S) YOU WOULD LIKE CLEANED AND TREATED HERE:

            Additionally, by ordering Cleaning and Treating, you give us permission to make minor repairs as we find appropriate up to $45.00 for each Awning. We will bill you for the Cleaning and Treating and Repairs upon Cleaning completion.  Cleaning and Treating your Awning(s) may improve their appearance but will not make them look new or waterproof.  Awnings older than 10 years may leak after treating. We are not responsible for damage that may occur during the Cleaning and Treating process. If it is raining at the time we Put Up your Cleaned Awning(s) we will have to return later to Treat them.  It is possible that, due to seasonal workload conditions, we may not get to Clean and Treat your Awning(s) before it is time for spring Put Up

 

            Again, thank you for your business and consideration.  If you would like us to service your Awning(s) this fall, PLEASE SIGN THIS LETTER WHERE INDICATED BELOW AND RETURN THE TOP COPY TO US.  Due to demand for this service, we urge you to send your reservation in as early as possible.  YOUR RESERVATION, ALONG WITH OUR SCHEDULE, WILL BE CONFIRMED BY MAIL IF RECEIVED BEFORE WE ARE FILLED.  IF RECEIVED AFTER WE ARE FILLED WE WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT ALSO BY MAIL.

 

            If this is a Residential Order, you may cancel this Contract at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after receiving a confirmation from us in the mail, by sending us a written notice of your desire to cancel.
